Due to the current drought, KTC cannot rent on Minnehaha Creek for now.  While I wait for the water to return, I am now offering Kayaks At Your Shore.

Perfect for reunions, graduations, team building events - you get it.  Any reason is a good reason to kayak with friends!

Up to 12 kayaks are available to come to your shore, with a minimum of six required to book.   

You will get nice, clean kayaks, paddles, life vests and even phone bags for those who want them for up to three hours of paddle time.    KTC requires a couple of paddlers to be available to help unload and reload the kayaks on to the trailer and all paddlers will need to take a few minutes at the end to wipe down their kayaks.*

Reservations taken in the west metro.   Your chosen location will need to be easily accessible to the shoreline and must be able to accommodate a truck and trailer (no dead ends or super tight spaces).

All renters on the creek must be over 12 (insurance reasons), but conditions are easier on lakes.  If you have younger children that you were hoping to include, please mention that in your request and I'll do my best to accommodate. 

Alcohol is not permitted while boating and any obviously intoxicated people will not be permitted to paddle (there will be no refund for this.)

Six kayaks for up to 3 hours = $275

Each additional kayak (up to 12 total) is $40.

*If you would rather not have to help with the loading, unloading and cleaning, you can upgrade an additional $40 and I'll bring an assistant.

Reservation and Cancellation policy:

- 50% downpayment required to reserve your date.  The remainder will be due prior to unloading the kayaks. 

- If kayaking isn't possible due to rain, high winds or other unpleasant weather KTC will try to reschedule your group up until the end of the season.   If rescheduling isn't possibly by the end of the season, you will be refunded.   

- If cancellation is a result of something on the renter's end (not weather related) and is requested more than 5 days prior to the reservation date, the downpayment will be refunded (minus CC fees).   If the cancellation is requested less than 5 days prior to the reservation date the downpayment will not be refunded due to lost business opportunities.
